About CE Europa
CE Europa are a historic neighbourhood club from Gràcia, a district of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. Founded in 1907, they were one of the ten founding members of La Liga in 1929. Today they compete in the Primera Federación — the third tier of Spanish football — in Grupo 2 for the 2026-27 season.
The club is in the middle of a modern renaissance. Promoted in 2024-25 as champions of Segunda Federación Grupo 3, they finished fifth in the Primera Federación in 2025-26 and reached the promotion play-offs, losing the semi-final to Celta Fortuna on 7 June 2026. Off the pitch the membership has climbed sharply through the decade, passing 3,300 by September 2025.
Since January 2026 Europa have played temporarily at Can Dragó, while their home ground, the Nou Sardenya, is brought into line with the natural-grass requirements of the Primera Federación.
